Affordable Private Reading & Writing Lessons
Literacy – the ability to read and write – is a skill many adults in the United States take for granted. However, according to a 2017 survey by the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), 19% of adults in the U.S. read at a Below Basic reading level*. That’s over 60 million people!
In order to help combat illiteracy, Ei-Wa International offers very affordable private lessons to help adults learn to read, or improve their literacy level. These lessons are ideal for adults who never learned to read, or who did not finish high school. Lessons at a reduced rate are available for students under certain circumstances such as unemployment.
Affordable Rate
Lessons are $35 per hour; however you may qualify for a reduced rate.

The cost of books and materials is not included in this price. The cost is generally between $10 - $35.
Ei-Wa International currently teaches from the Laubach Way to Reading series.
